Eileen Ivers, a Grammy-winning and Emmy-nominated artist, is a luminary in the world of music. Her accolades include performing with the London Symphony Orchestra, Boston Pops, and over 50 other orchestras. She’s the original Musical Star of Riverdance and a Nine-Time All-Ireland Fiddle Champion. Her collaborations span legends like Sting, Hall and Oates, The Chieftains, and ‘Fiddlers 3’ with Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg and Regina Carter, among others.
Eileen’s innovative spirit has reshaped the Celtic fiddle genre. The Washington Post hails her as the one shaping its future. Billboard calls her a “sensation,” and The New York Times compares her to Jimi Hendrix. With over 80 albums and numerous movie scores, Eileen is a pioneer in Celtic and World music.
Raised in the Bronx by Irish immigrants, Eileen won numerous fiddle championships and delved into diverse musical genres. She continues to bridge cultures with her band, “unIVERSal roots.”
Eileen’s honors include a Doctor of Arts degree from Iona College for her commitment to music’s unifying power. She headlines major venues, collaborates with symphonies, and appears at festivals worldwide. The L.A. Times raves about her ability to connect diverse musical forms.
Eileen’s 2020 album, “Scatter the Light,” originally released at the pandemic’s onset, was re-released in 2022.
