DubhLee

Dubh Lee started making music in the summer of 2018 as a folk singer and guitarist and has since entertained countless audiences at events such as the Ruby Sessions, Electric Picnic and the Rory Gallagher festival in Ballyshannon, as well as at intimate shows all over Ireland, opening for acts such as Jack Lukeman and Bagatelle. In 2019 she supported jazz band Jimmy’s Cousin on their Irish tour, which included performances in The Set Theatre in Kilkenny, Dolan’s in Limerick and The Sugar Club in Dublin.

In the past couple of years she has performed at a number of live-streamed and hybrid events, such as the Hotpress Lockdown Sessions and the Five Lamps Arts festival. During this time she added a drummer and bassist to her live shows, allowing her to showcase the heavier, rockier side of Dubh Lee. She topped off 2020 with an intimate performance at Apres Palooza in Joe Lee’s, Tullamore and returned to this venue in August 2021 to open for Jerry Fish as part of the Offaly Rising festival. Most recently she played an energetic set with a full band to a fired-up audience at Fuinneamh festival (September 2022). Dubh Lee’s single Carousel came out in November 2020, accompanied by a psychedelic music video (available on the singer’s YouTube channel). Her debut EP Animals and Friends will be coming out in Winter 2022.
