Mike Hanrahan has been to the forefront of Irish music for decades, his career began with Maura O’Connell before on to front folk group Stockton’s Wing. He has worked as a solo artist, toured with Finbar Furey, Leslie Dowdall and many more. In 2024 he co presented the acclaimed RTE TV hit series Songs for Ireland with Pat Shortt.
Eleanor Shanley is one of Ireland’s most loved and respected vocalists, who is renowned for her unique interpretation of Irish and roots songs. Eleanor began her career with De Danann before developing a very successful career as solo artist releasing 7 studio albums to date.
Together, they will present an intimate evening of music and stories at Áras Chrónáin in Clondalkin, drawing from their impressive respective back catalogues interspersed with many new song collaborations.
