How Do I Buy Tickets?

Tickets will go on sale only at tradfest.com. Sign up to our mailing list to be the first to find out about tickets for TradFest 2027. TradFest newsletter subscribers receive early access to tickets and are the first to know about ticket sales and giveaways.

Tickets are emailed to the email address used during booking, and have QR codes for entry to the event. Name transfers are not required should the same name be on multiple tickets or if you’re giving them to someone else. All ticket queries can be sent to tickets@tradfest.com. 

No, however, there are some events where there may be availability for a group discount when booked in advance.

Tickets are available to purchase online until 4pm on the day of the performance, if there are tickets left after the cut off time, you’ll be able to purchase them at the venue when doors open.

TradFest merchandise is sold exclusively on this website, tradfest.com.  Ahead of the festival, TradFest will collaborate with a select store in the city centre for those interested in shopping for merch while they’re in Dublin – our newsletter and social media pages will let you know where to find merch in the city closer to the festival in January. Doors for all TradFest events open 30 – 60 minutes before the scheduled start time. Check your ticket for your event door and start times.

No, seating in all TradFest venues is unallocated and works on a first come, first served basis.

All venues other than The Grand Social are fully wheelchair accessible. Should you require additional assistance, please email tickets@tradfest.com to arrange early arrival.

There’s a selection of TradFest events which are child-friendly, and children are permitted to attend a selection of headline concerts. Due to The Grand Social and The Button Factory being 18yrs+, they are the only venues where minors are unable to attend.

As an inclusive festival spread across multiple venues, not all TradFest venues operate a bar or serve alcohol. Venues such as The Grand Social, The Button Factory and the Smithwick’s Sessions in both Temple Bar and Fingal pubs are all licensed however community centres, cafés, churches and cathedrals are not licensed to sell alcohol. For TradFest events in The National Stadium – the bar operates only before the event begins and not during.

Yes, items which are lost and/or found are kept in the individual venues. Items such as phones, cameras and wallets however are kept in the festival office. Contact tickets@tradfest.com if you’ve misplaced something at a TradFest event.
