Brian O’Leary is an accordion player, performer, and teacher active within the Sliabh Luachra tradition. He performs and teaches music on a regular basis, sharing his knowledge of the region’s style with new generations of players. His album The Groves of Gneeveguilla features previously unrecorded music from the Sliabh Luachra tradition, offering a rare showcase of material rooted in that heritage.
Aidan Connolly (Aodhán Ó Conghaile) is a Dublin-born fiddler and teacher, known for a distinctive playing style shaped by his mother, his uncle, and his mentor Tomás MacUileagóid. He released his debut album, Be Off, in 2016 to widespread critical acclaim, followed in 2019 by Away On Up The Road, recorded with fiddler John Daly. Connolly has appeared on TG4’s Geantraí and TradFest, and since 2024 has performed as John Sheahan in The Dubliners Encore. He has been described as one of the leading fiddle players of his generation.
