Niwel Tsumbu is an internationally renowned Congolese/Ireland based guitarist, composer, singer and musician whose sound blends the rich musical traditions of Central Africa with jazz, blues and contemporary music.
Known for his virtuosic guitar playing, rhythmic depth and expressive performances, Tsumbu has built an international career as a solo artist and collaborator. He has toured extensively with Grammy Award-winning artist Rhiannon Giddens and performed with Taj Mahal and the Silkroad Ensemble.
