Rita Perry is an Irish-Catalan artist, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. Her sound blends folk and baroque pop — dreamlike, but grounded in its root instrumentation — drawing on influences from Neil Young and Karen Dalton to Kate Bush and Aldous Harding. Her work spans a variety of projects, including performing live scores to silent films, and her recently self-produced debut EP, Kill Your Darlings, is both an inward reckoning and an act of release.
