Women of Note, curated and presented by Aoife Scott, is a celebration of artists from diverse backgrounds and cultures. On a quiet night in January each year, the vaulted ceilings of Dublin’s St Patrick’s Cathedral are filled with the sound of stunning female voices. It highlights the rich talent of Irish trad and folk performers with their international counterparts, making for a memorable evening. Women of Note sees artists use their voice and song to carry tradition, a cause, or in support of a belief that is reflected in their songs, repertoire, and careers. The sensational Aoife Scott will also be joined on stage by a number of special guests.

One of the most memorable voices of Irish music, award winning folk singer, songwriter, harpist, and philanthropist Moya Brennan joins the 2026 lineup.

No stranger to TradFest, multi-award winning traditional singer and musician Muireann will be bringing her stunning West Kerry sean nós style to the Women of Note stage.

Martha Tilston

Of Welsh, Scottish, and Portuguese roots, Cornwall-based Martha Tilston captivates audiences with her silken vocals and evocative songwriting, enriching this year’s celebration of women in music.
