Few bands have reimagined Irish traditional music as boldly as Kíla. Formed by schoolmates at Coláiste Eoin in Dublin, the eight-piece fused trad with world rhythms, chant and raw percussive energy to create something entirely their own — heard on landmark albums like Tóg É Go Bog É. Their music reached global audiences through acclaimed film scores for Song of the Sea and Wolfwalkers, composed with Bruno Coulais. Four decades on, their live shows remain legendary: part concert, part ritual, entirely Kíla.
Celebrating 40 years, Kíla will be joined by The Paul Frost Brass Band and more special guests.
Aya Samra will also be supporting Kíla for their 40th Anniversary. This rising Berlin-based artist is trilingual in Arabic, English and German, and her fearless sound blends vulnerability with power. A viral remix and a run of viral videos have earned her over 450 million views across all platforms, along with a fast-growing fanbase and industry buzz.
