Festival Venues
From castles to cathedrals, churches to community centres, TradFest events can be found in some of the most beautiful settings Dublin has to offer. Both the city and county boast buildings of architectural beauty, and filling these special spaces with live music makes for a memorable experience.
Fingal Venues
If it’s a concert in a castle you’re looking for, consider heading to our North Dublin venues. Fingal is home to Ardgillan, Malahide and Swords Castle, while the region itself boasts pristine beaches, rolling hills, and vibrant urban centres. Fingal derives its name from the Gaelic words ‘Fine Gall’, or ‘land of the fair-haired stranger’ in reference to the Vikings who settled there.
Fingal County Council
TradFest and Fingal County Council first teamed up in 2021, with the collaboration being a cornerstone of the festival’s growth throughout the wider Dublin area.
From the marvellous Malahide to beautiful Balbriggan, discover everything Fingal has to offer this January.
