Artist Bio

This evening will celebrate the historical links between baroque music and the uilleann pipes. The programme will include repertoire from composers J.S. Bach, G.F. Handel and G.P. Telemann as well as more traditional material. The instrumentation will comprise uilleann pipes with cello, harpsichord and violin for the baroque material. The traditional repertoire will be accompanied by guitar. Éamonn Galldubh began playing traditional music on the tin whistle at the age of eight, before moving on to the uilleann pipes, flute, whistle, guitar, ukulele and saxophone. As part of TradFest 2026, Éamonn plays St. Macullins Centre in Lusk, which is making its festival debut as a venue.
